Before a showing, it is better to add natural scents like baked goods or fresh flowers than artificial scents like room sprays. 

3. Brighten your space

Another thing to consider when staging is how bright your space appears. You may want to repaint the walls white or another light colour if your space is dark. Cleaning your windows is also a good way to brighten up your space.
